본격적으로 시작하기 전에, 몸 풀기 삼아 가볍게 하나씩 물어보겠다. 먼저 정재원에게 싱글남이란?
재원 아, 가볍게 던졌지만 답변하기 무거운 질문이다. 흐흐.

Before we start …, like stretching [before exercising], I’ll ask you each a question lightly.  First, for Jung Jaewon, the single life is?
Jaewon:  Ah, you threw [the question] lightly, but it’s a question that requires a heavy answer.  Heh heh.

인터뷰 끝날 때까지 생각해봐라. 이정훈에게 김종완이란?
정훈 음악 선생님.
종완 “난 선생이고, 넌 학생이야.” 이런 거 생각난다.(웃음)

Think about it until the interview is over.  To Lee Junghoon, Kim Jongwan is?
Junghoon:  Music teacher.
Jongwan:  “I’m the teacher, you’re the student.”  This thought comes up.  (laughs)

김종완에게 섹스란?
정훈 이 얘기 할 줄 알았다.(웃음)
종완 섹스? 하늘이 준 인간이 누릴 수 있는 몇 안 되는 축복 중의 하나.
재원 원숭이도 해.
종완 무분별하게 하는 섹스가 아니라 교감할 수 있는 사람과의 관계에서 느낄 수 있다는 의미에서 보면 축복이 아닐까. 그걸 아니라고 하면 불행한 게 아닌가.

For Kim Jongwan, sex is?
Junghoon:  I knew you’d say this.  (laughs)
Jongwan:  Sex?  It’s one of the few blessings that heaven could give to man.
Jaewon:  Even monkeys do it.
Jongwan:  Not sex that you have recklessly, but, if you look at it as something that you have in a relationship with someone who means something to you*, couldn’t it be a blessing?  If it’s not that, then isn’t it misery?

마지막으로 이재경에게 과거의 여자친구란?
정훈 재경이 운다.(웃음)
재경 갑자기, 뭐라고 할지…(그냥 끝에 같이 얘기하라).

Lastly, for Lee Jaekyung, ex-girlfriends are?
Junghoon:  Jaekyung’s crying.  (laughs)
Jaekyung:  Suddenly, I don’t know what to say … (then tell us at the end.)

* huge, HUGE liberties taken with this — I went more with what his words say than what he literally says himself (I tend to skew very heavily to translating as literally as I can) — basically, he’s talking about sex with someone who has a connection with you (so, uh, means something to you?) in an emotional sense?  I don’t know quite how to explain 교감하다, but, basically, he’s talking about sex within — let’s say — an umbrella of mutual meaningfulness … ha, I feel like I’m digging myself into a hole here with this; I think I obsess too much with getting things right when it’s just a casual translation of something that amused me …
